Wisconsin

Well, we made it to Wisconsin for the weekend. I am here to interview for new friends! Okay not really, I am at a Residence Life conference interviewing people for Simpson. We have 2 anticipated Area Coordinator openings, which also give me the possibility of two new friends!!! Heck Yes! Winston is home, I miss him, A LOT!

This is not the first time Winston has done this either, this is # 2. The funny thing is he only does this when I am home for a bit after work then leave him again for a couple of hours. It's like he gets mad at me for leaving and this is my punishment. What a little jerk.

Least favorite phrase.

"Smoldering eyes" or as I call them "Smoldering eyeballs."

As you may have read in previous post, I am rather loathsome of "smoldering eyes." I received a Valentines Day package from home with the above cartoon drawn on the outside. Smoldering eyeballs, seriously, seriously? Thanks Nana (and Stephanie Meyer)!

Look what I made!

For Christmas Nana made me an ironing board cover, it was very cute and said "I love my dog" all over it, but it didn't fit my ironing board. So Nana made me another ironing board cover out of SUPER cute cupcake fabric! But it didn't fit either, so I had to remove the bias-tape and pretty much re-sew the entire thing. The ironing board cover is fixed now, and looks awesome. (please note that the UGLY pillows are NOT mine, they are Simpson College's pillows)

I actually used it tonight to make a hanging suit thingy (not totally sure what it's actual name is). Both of my projects look pretty good. This weekend I am going to make a travel bag for Winston out of the "I love my dog" fabric, I think the little rascal will enjoy that!

I can't believe I did not put these up earlier! Here are some pictures from when I went home for Christmas. The Saint Bernard, "Bubba", is my grandparents dog. He and Winston got to play one day! They had a blast. I don't have any pictures of Winston and Sammy, my parents dog. I think Winston and Sammy still miss each other.
