Ugh… I am just not in the best of moods lately. It has to do with so much.

I have now received (basically) 4 rejection letters, and the one on-campus interview I had did not go as well as it could have gone. I have still been dropping my resume at a few places every now and then, nothing spectacular though. Last night while lying in bed I realized that when I was sending two resumes out I totally spelt pursue wrong (I spelled it peruse, which I guess is the correct spelling just of a different word), BUMMER!

I have also been rather lonely in my building; it is amazing the buzz that the students give to the place. At night I have a tendency to scare the crap out of myself, it doesn’t help that I was watching True Hollywood Story, Spring Gone Bad (hearing about kidnapping, decapitations and sexual assaults have a tendency to scare the poop out of me).

I also want to shop, but I totally shouldn’t. I still have the “Low on Funds” disease and I will be moving soon (hopefully). I don’t want to buy anything in particular but just shop, oh but I totally have to buy a new book.

Having so much to do is also putting me in a funk. All I can think is “I do not want to do this.” Then I don’t and just add to my stress level and gray hair.
I am also having a small case of home sickness (shh… don’t tell my mom).

A good read

I just finished reading "Picture Perfect" by Jodi Picoult, good book. I was planning on reading "The Bell Jar" (I forget who that is by) but after talking to my friend Sara she advised that I not read "The Bell Jar" as it is depressing and I have been receiving depressing news. This depressing news is mostly contributed to the three rejection letters I have received from schools (Mizzou, College of Saint Benedict and Carleton College) I interviewed with in February.

Anyways to keep myself from falling into a catatonic state of wearing all black clothing and black eyeliner, I am try to stay away from depressing books. I did find a book that looks HILARIOUS! It's called "I Hope the Serve Beer in Hell." It is a compilation of asinine stories written by a Duke Law graduate. I look forward to reading this book full of debauchery. I like these, wouldn't mind receiving one of them (or all of them) for graduation? Maybe?

Save the DATE!

Obsessive Habits

Yes, I have them. Right now I am obsessed with listening to the same GREAT song over and over again. You may think the song would get old, it doesn't. Over the weekend I was listening to "Signal Fire" by Snow Patrol, GREAT SONG. Today I started listening to "The Heart of the Matter" by the lovely, crazy haired, lady India.Arie; it is beautiful.

AND also "Heart of the matter" is part of the trailer to "Sex and the City" the movie. I watched the trailer, it was amazing, I totally recommend watching it. Because of the amazing movie I will be putting a countdown for it in the blog. I am so excited for MAY (graduation, seeing the family, moving and "Sex and the City" the movie)!
