Woops!
I totally forgot to do my Friday blog about my favorite song, so I will do two of the today. This weekend is Graceland's Homecoming, and I am not going, not because it sucked last year, in fact, just the opposite, last year was great so I figure I'll wait a little longer and through absence when I finally go it will be GREAT!
But because of Graceland's Homecoming the Schamp's are gone so I get to help watch Sadie the dog! Super exciting! I took her on a short walk yesterday and this morning we went on a super long walk. Starting in lower Vermillion, then going up to New Vermillion and walking through the classy part of town. It made me want a dog, really bad, but I guess I'll have to wait a couple more years.
I also had an Amish bread starter, so I made some Amish bread this morning after I took Sadie home, it is cooking right now and smells so GOOD! I wish I could let you smell it!
P.S. I'm thinking about get rid of my Facebook. What do you think? It's kind of getting out of control. And I really don't need it. So tell me, keep it, or not.

I like!
Today is wonderful Wednesday. So here is something I "need." I really like these fun bowls, especially the polka dots. They are from Target's "Chelsea" Collection, oh how beautiful they are!
Of course I don't "need" all of them...
... but Friday is payday!
...and the polka dots are my favorite...
...I shall resist!
... or at least try!
On a side not I am teaching my first class all by myself tomorrow, I'm a little nervous, but mostly I just wanna find something fun for them to do, and not just talk about the book! So off I go, looking for a fun activity!

The schedule of SASS!
Sometimes I have nothing to talk about on my blog, but while lounging around today I figured out what I can do to keep myself blogging. Here is the schedule of what I will be sharing on my blog:

Last weekend
Last weekend, I made the five hour drive down to Kansas City to surprise my friends! It was so fun! I got to see some people I really missed, and didn't get to see some people I missed which was kind of sad! Here is a picture of some of us at Chelsea's house!

While I was down in Kansas City I got a new iPod (if you were my mom you would be saying "why did she buy that? She doesn't need that") I really "needed" a new iPod, my old one wasn't holding a charge for more than a minute. It is green and cute, if you want a picture of that one check out the Apple website.
I am planning on going back down to Kansas City the weekend of the 20th to help Matt and Rebecca move into their new house, and see everyone!

Busy times
I have been super, crazy busy lately. It has been a couple of rough weeks. I was in training for an entire month, it was long daunting and boring, I am so happy it is over! Lots of things happened during that month, stuff with work, that sometimes made we wish I hadn't signed my contract and could just run away a quit.
There were also somethings with my family that made me wish I was at home. My Nana broke her femur and had to have surgery, and in the same day my brother fell off of a Bobcat, he got stitches but then they got really infected. My Papa also had some problems with his elbow (I think it runs in the family, I am proof of that). Everyone is doing much better, Nana needs help with getting food to the table, and getting up the stairs (they don't have railing to get up the stairs into the house), Papa's elbow is fine I guess, the infection on Joe's elbow is better, but he still has trouble bending it (I can relate).
I was also a little homesick for my friends who live in the Kansas City Area. I just miss them and as much as I wish they could stop their lives and wait to start them again when I am around I realize that is unrealistic.
All in all I am pretty happy to have started my second year at USD!
CA training went well, here are some pictures!

I didn't realize it until just a few minutes ago but the 4th of September was the anniversary of me breaking my elbow. There were so many memories that went with that incident. My elbow is doing well, except during extreme weather, or weather changes my elbow hurts really bad. I have a feel arthritis will be a problem when I get older. When it hurts I can't help but think of when the doctor said it would only be taken out if it started hurting really bad. Then I think is it better to have an occasional twinge of pain, or A FREAKING SURGERY! I think I'll stick with the twinge of pain.
My mom also sent me some really pretty flowers, it was so nice of her to send them, I am still enjoying the roses. Thank you mom, I love you!

Along with taking a few classes I am also helping teach a class. Helping teach a class has given me an entirely new understanding of what teachers do. From the book we are teaching from I read this quote: "The dictionary is the only place where succeed comes before work." I like it!
I promise more entries by Sunday, I have an exciting weekend planned, but you'll have to wait to hear about it!
