Family @ SPEC

I was so EXCITED when my sister and cousin were just an hour away from me for a week! I got to see them twice! Here is a picture of the three of us.

I was so happy to see them. It wasn't a long enough visit and I am already excited to go home for CHRISTMAS!

Button Flowers!

I made these! Aren't the pretty, I LOVE THEM!

It's amazing what you can do with buttons and floral wire!

I was bored on Saturday, apparently not having friends brings out my crafty side!

I got the idea from the farmer's market, in Des Moines. I love these little flowers! They make me happy. My next project is to work on a Christmas Tree garland for my tree, I started Saturday, I have a feeling the garland will take a while!

While I should have been getting ready I took this quiz (see link above). The outcome was interesting, not necessarily surprising, but interesting.

The Tarwater Wedding!

Just a little over a week ago two of my very good friends got married! Matthew and Lindsay make a great couple and I was honored to be a bridesmaid in their wedding! The entire weekend was so FUN!

On Friday I spent the night at Chelsea and Scott's house and we went to see some fireworks! (Although 4th of July is my least favorite holiday, I apparently found something HILARIOUS!)

After the rehearsal lunch we sat by the pool, it was AMAZING! I wish I had a pool.

Then, we went to the Plaza, and California Pizza Kitchen!

At night we had some champagne in our AMAZING hotel room! When I say the room was amazing, I mean it! We had 3 rooms in total 2 bedrooms connected by the bridal suite (a room to get ready in). We also had like 4 balconies, so of course we had to yell off of one of them "LINDSAY'S GETTING MARRIED!!!" People even woohooed back!

I taped a penny to Lindsay's shoes, along with one of my BEAUTIFUL brown hairs!

It was a BEAUTIFUL day! Congratulations Matthew and Lindsay!

I'm in agreement!

I agree with Samantha Jones from "Sex and the City" on many things but this quote is the culmination of similarities between Sam and I.

"I feel the same way as you feel about Botox. Painful and unnecessary."

I LOVE IT!

Abby's Graduation!

It's been a while but, in June I went home for my sister's High School Graduation! It was very fun to visit my family! I loved it! I also got the chance to take my god daughter to the zoo!

This was right after the ceremony! Me, Mom and Abby!

My brother and sister! I love them!

Still after graduation!

Maddie and I at the ZOO!!!

It was such a great trip, I was sad to leave my family, I miss them everyday. I can't wait to see them again!
