Kansas City trip

Last weekend Winston and I wend to Kansas City for Easter, it was a great trip. We stayed at the Tilley's, Matt worked nights most of the weekend, so needless to say Winston was a little shocked when he saw a "strange" man walking around the house, Winston LOVED Rebecca, not sure if she was his biggest fan. That's okay though the kind of love Winston gives can be a little out of control and A.D.D.

On Friday night we went to Matthew and Lindsay's house, while I got to visit with my friends (Rebecca, Sara, Jen, Lindsay+Matthew, Meredith+Josh) Winston had the chance to make some dog friends. Winston got along very well with Cyler (Meredith's dog) and Claire (Lindsay's dog), they were out of control with their copious amounts of playing and ruff housing. Cadance (Meredith's dog) didn't really like Winston and he just could not get it through his thick skull why she didn't like him; Winston's fur flew and fell, but he still came back for more! Luigi (Lindsay's dog) was MUCH more social than usual he still did not want to play with Winston, maybe because Winston was a little bigger and does not understand the idea of "gentle".
Clockwise, Luigi, Claire, Cadance, and Winston.

Jen and the dogs!

Clockwise, Claire, Cyler and Winston. The rowdy bunch!

At one point in the evening Matthew was trying to get the dogs outside and Winston was so excited to go he knocked out the screen door, WOOPS! No harm done it just popped back into place, thank goodness!

I am sure if Bailey or Penny would have been there they would have been all over the playing and being rowdy.

On Saturday I had the chance to go shopping with the Passman sisters. As they are both expecting babies in October (2 days apart), they wanted to pick up some maternity clothes. It was a hilarious experience, complete with fake baby bumps! Check out Rebecca's blog for pictures.

On Sunday we went to church, then dinner at Ed and Laney's where Winston Churchman got to meet Winston Passman, W.P. didn't really appreciate W.C.'s energy and A.D.D. attitude.

It was an awesome weekend! Thanks to all of my friends for making it so great!

Happy (belated) Easter!

Cute right?!?! He did surprisingly well with his flower petal headband!

4 dozen cupcakes

Have you ever wondered what 4 dozen cupcakes look like?
Well here you go! Some of my staff and I made these for a cupcake walk. Because of the MASSIVE amounts of cake I went a less time intensive route using a boxed cake mix instead of cake from scratch. To the trained palette, cake from scratch would have been better but to 100 children under 15 the sugar intake was all that mattered.
The above is obviously pre-frosting.

Post-frosting, I LOVE the obnoxiously bright colors!
